Together with a close-knit team, we are now looking for an Application Operation Specialist who wants to be part of an international company with high demands for stability, structure, and technical expertise!

About the role

As part of the Application Operation team, you will work with the operation, management, and development of mission-critical applications in a complex runtime environment. The team consists of about ten people where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and shared responsibility for availability are in focus.

The role involves handling incidents, problems, and improvements with the goal of ensuring high availability, stable operations, and compliance with SLAs. You will work both operationally and proactively - from troubleshooting and database management to documentation and improvement work.

Most applications are hosted on MS Windows Server and use MS SQL Server as the database platform, making these competencies central to the role.

Your main responsibilities

• Manage incidents and problems to ensure operations, availability, and SLA compliance.
• Drive and document operational routines and processes.
• Administer, optimize, and troubleshoot databases in MS SQL Server.
• Work closely with the business and contribute insights regarding infrastructure, operations, and application behavior.
• Develop the team's ability to work proactively by detecting, analyzing, and preventing potential operational disruptions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and development activities within application operations.

We would like you to have

• Relevant experience as an IT technician or similar in IT/operations.
• Good knowledge and experience of Windows Server environments.
• Good understanding of MS SQL Server and database management.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
